About Maria

MariaMaria Last is a professional Medium, Psychic and Intuitive Teacher. In December 2009 an account of Maria’s abilities as a medium was documented by award winning journalist Kylie Miller and published in Marie Claire Magazine, receiving acknowledgement both in Australia and internationally. Maria has since been featured twice on Channel 10′s The 7PM Project.

She is also an Advanced Skills Coach attaining full accreditation and membership of the International Coach Federation through her studies with The Coaching Institute. She is also a qualified practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Time Line Re-patterning, tools which work hand in hand with her sixth sensory skills.

Today Maria uses her extensive skill set with passion as she guides her clients to re-connect with their higher selves, activate and develop their intuitive sixth sense, and create a life of inner and outer peace in order to realise their potential and achieve extraordinary goals. You can read some of their testimonials here.

Maria worked for 10 years in the corporate world before setting up her practice in Melbourne and committing to work full-time as a holistic therapist, respected psychic and medium, giving readings, mediumship sittings and conducting house clearings. She is an internationally qualified remedial massage therapist with expertise in Reiki level II, Pranic healing and Bowen Technique, again using intuitive techniques to facilitate physical body healing.

For as long as she can remember, Maria has had active psychic skills and has seen and communicated with spirits, a skill she shares with others in her family through generations. Although born with these abilities Maria has worked diligently to hone these skills to better serve others.

“I would somehow know things about people that they had not told me and I would often know about events before they happened; on quite a number of occasions the events would later appear on the news,” she says.

“When I was a teenager, I tried to shut down my sensitivity.  It surprised me that others didn’t see the world the way I did and I didn’t want to seem to be different or odd. I wasn’t comfortable with it and it sometimes scared me. As I got a little older and wiser I came to understand that my abilities are just that, they are abilities that I then chose to develop and strengthen, in order to help others. I now use those abilities to help people around the world to realise the gifted abilities they have within themselves. I didn’t spend years sitting in a psychic circle or sweating in a tee-pee, I believe that the sixth sense is a normal part of our experience and it does not require us to alter our lifestyle or beliefs in any dramatic way. It’s a natural ability and has a natural development process, and it is available to all of us in ways that can be integrated easily in our every day lives with great reward and integrity.”

Maria uses her intuition when making all her decisions – including permanently moving to Australia from Ireland after meeting the man she knew she would marry, choices about her work, the house in which she lives and even the shoes she wore to dance all night at her wedding reception (pretty blue and white Adidas trainers).

A person who loves a challenge and the growth that comes from getting outside her comfort zone, Maria is a former internationally qualified fitness instructor and rose to the challenge of becoming an RIBBF Irish national bodybuilding champion in 1996.

Maria conducts workshops and is available for public speaking.
